What we carry

$1.800 COP

It wasn't just a chair. It was everything this kid was carrying on it.

In La Guajira I saw a child with a chair on his head.
In this work, I painted the chair, but also the weight that many children carry: books they can't read, balls they can't kick, responsibilities that aren't theirs.
It's war, hunger, inequality... all carried on one shoulder.

"What We Carry" isn't just a painting. It's a calling. Because they shouldn't have to carry what we couldn't resolve.
