Have you ever experienced the rope game? Have you ever felt that adrenaline rush of letting go and falling? Have you ever pulled with all your might regardless of the pain?
In the rope game, perseverance, decisions and renunciations win. This was what we experienced with the Independence HS community, a group of young people who had recently arrived in a strange place with stories left behind but with great futures to build.
In collaboration with them, we painted a school wall, and we talked about the stories that have brought us here, stories that identified us, that united us, stories without barriers and without borders.
Tensión is a project that taught us that there are people who play on the verge of losing but always win, that stories are written from here on out, and that decisions are squares won in the game of life.
At AGÜD we believe that the game of living is present everywhere, in all countries, social classes and realities, that sometimes you win and other times you learn, but you never go back.
