“Belonging to Nothing” is a project that highlights the reality of migrants crossing the Darien jungle in search of a better future.

Through art, the stories of those who walk for miles without belonging to either their country of origin or their destination are told, facing a journey filled with uncertainty, uprooting, and resistance. Through artistic creation, the project gives voice to those who are often forgotten, generating spaces for reflection on human dignity and the struggle for survival. The collected images and testimonies are transformed into works that seek to raise awareness and mobilize the public, reminding us that migrating should not mean losing one's identity or fundamental rights.

BELONGING TO NOTHING is a natural outgrowth of We Are Still Children, expanding its reach to speak about justice, memory, and belonging. Through painting, photography, and intervention in public spaces, the project breaks the silence and transforms art into a channel of resistance and hope.

More than an artistic project, it's a living testimony to the stories we collected along the way, a cry of solidarity, and an invitation to reflect on the fragility of identity and the sense of belonging. We want to honor those who cross the jungle not only with the bare minimum to survive, but also with the strength of a dream and the hope of being remembered.
