Leap into the void #1

Saltar al Vacío (Leap into the Void) is a series that understands play as an act of courage and resistance. It stems from a shared experience with the community of Puerto Caracol, on Isla Múcura (Colombian Caribbean), where children grow up amidst the precarity and the contradictory beauty of “paradise.” Through the simple gesture of jumping, the series reveals how childhood transforms deprivation into play and uncertainty into movement. Each jump is an affirmation of dignity: a way of inhabiting the present with joy, of claiming a place in the world, and of remaining children, even when reality forces one to grow up too soon.
