De Niña a Mamá

For me, being an artist not only means painting beautiful things but also having a bit of the responsibility of transmitting what each of us carries inside.

Sometimes I do it solely through a painting or a mural. But in this case, I had the great fortune of being able to teach this group of brave women some of the things I have learned over the years through art...and of course they taught me from their joy, their dedication as mothers, and one or another step from Champeta.

During the time we shared I was able to reaffirm my idea that art touches hearts, softens them.

And it is thanks to my tool, painting, that I manage to meet people as cool as them every day. They inspire me, they make me smile. I just hope to be at their level, to give them what I have, so that they also grow.
